Success in the Vendée Globe is becoming a tradition for Nautix, the French marine paints manufacturer situated in Morbihan. With François Gabart and Mer agitée shipyard choosing Nautix paints to protect the hull of Macif Open 60', this edition of the race become the 5th consecutive time that a winner of Vendée Globe has selected Nautix products.
With regards to the Macif Project, in addition to PE primer and A4T.Speed antifouling coatings, Nautix developed custom epoxy paints (very resistant to abrasion for dagger boards and rudders protection), and also specific non-skid paints especially with the Vendee globe in mind.
The victory of Macif Open 60', means that Nautix remain the leader for racing paints, not only in France but around the world.
Thanks to the experience gained from this project (and also on 12 other boats of Vendée Globe), Nautix is able to offer a wide product range with high-quality antifouling, for protection and low friction through the water, especially adapted to all our customers. |
