Universal axle mast base
Universal axle (also called north or pin) system is mostly used in Europe. Easy to handle, its gives a good connection between the sail and the board. Nevertheless, it must be verified more regularly than a push pin system.

Each Nautix mast base is equiped with a "Shock Absorber" plate to limit vitration and point load without non skid paint deterioration.

- TENDON JOINT (A) : Both stiff and solid, the TENDON is perfect for freeride and slalom. Note that any tendon can be dammaged if it is left bent at 90° during prolonged time. It is not recommended for beginner.
- MECHANICAL POWER JOINT (B) : Used by formula racers for its lateral rigidity, it is also perfect for beginners and schools.
- POWER JOINT (C) : For wave. It is the best chock absorber between rig and the board..
