Applying a topcoat is the final step in a paint application.
Enamels cannot fill holes or scratches. For best results, they must be applied to a well-prepared, dry surface, sanded to a 240 grit and, above all, evened out.
For best results, it’s best to apply a white undercoat such as UNDERCOAT or U2.
A few tips:
- Mix well before use.
- Respect the drying times before recoating.
- It is preferable to roughen with 400 between coats.
- Do not apply at the end of the day, as ambient humidity can cause a loss of gloss.
- Do not paint a surface if there is the slightest risk of condensation forming on the surface (dew point): the temperatures of the ambient air, the substrate and the product must be very close.
