Preparatory systems before primers enable you to start with a surface that is consistent with the paint application. The surface must first be degreased, sanded or blasted, depending on the substrate and the process selected. It is essential to respect the cycle for optimum cohesion between coats.

Filling in scratches, levelling out deformations, redoing profiles, coatings are used to prepare the surface of your boat.
Before applying protective or finishing paint, the filler must be applied between two coats of primer, then protected with a multi-layer coating.

Applying a topcoat is the ultimate step in painting. Our single- or two-component finishing systems will enhance your boat’s appearance and provide a lasting protective barrier against the elements (such as sun, rain, wind and abrasion).

Mix well before applying the antifouling

For the antifouling to be fully effective, the product must be well homogenized before application.

Why is this operation so essential?

An antifouling is a complex formulation composed of many ingredients with very different densities. It is therefore essential to know how to homogenize these ingredients in the bucket before application for a uniform paint efficiency and better application comfort!

How to mix well?

Use Nautix spatula for 0.75L pots mixing from bottom to top. For 2.5L, 5L and 20L cans, repeat the same movement but with a paint paddle mixer.

The mixing time must last 4 minutes to be effective.
